IOA packs a Punch
(January 4th) – "The IOA Group, Britain’s largest independent operator, has confirmed renewal of its long-standing contract with Punch, a leading pub company in the UK with around 5,000 leased and tenanted pubs nationwide. The agreement covers Category C, SWP, pool and ancillary equipment totalling some 2,500 products."
Confirming this latest business win for the IOA Group, national sales executive, Ken Mullarkey said: “We are delighted to be able to announce such a flagship account has been renewed. This has been a busy quarter for us and we have further announcements to follow.
Our relationship with Punch dates back over ten years. During that period we have established a close working relationship at all levels of the operation and have ensured that all of our people understand and embrace the dynamics of the Punch business. This has enabled us to work very closely with the client to achieve the common goal of driving machine income for Punch licensees and Punch. Key initiatives such as note payout, the deployment of SWP tournaments and refill projects as well as intensive work on collection and service procedures have certainly reaped rewards. Our most recent initiative of targeting houses currently without AWP’s has produced significant additional income.
Our strategy of being a pro-active machine operator, raising industry standards and always bringing our core values of independence, transparency and integrity to each of our accounts is being recognised.
Commenting on the deal for Punch, machine development manager Julie Clamp said: “In this challenging environment with numerous changes facing the industry it is important that Punch appoint suppliers that can support our licensees and provide flexibility with their services.
