Bob Rudd Leisure strengthens IOA position with Sovereign acquisition

The IOA Group has strengthened its market position following the acquisition of Leeds-based Sovereign Games by fellow IOA Group member Bob Rudd Leisure for an undisclosed sum. The purchase, which was completed on Thursday 6th May, has seen Bob Rudd Leisure acquire all company assets including the IOA Group contracted business, which is in excess of 900 machines.

Nick Rudd, Operations and Marketing Director, is confident that the integration of the operations and the enhanced market position that brings, represents a positive development for company and customers alike. He explained: “We are delighted to have completed the deal and have already embarked on the process of integrating the two businesses. All staff have been transferred to Bob Rudd Leisure including Mark Bowen who has worked extremely hard over the last year.”

He added: “Our objective is to continue the IOA Group strategy of maximising machine income through a combination of providing customers with the very best products and the very best service levels that only an independent operator can deliver.”
